On March 20, 2021, the first day of Spring, a group of concerned King Township residents took to the pavement outside of the King Municipal Offices and, later, King-Vaughan MPP Stephen Lecce's office to protest the proposed Highway 413 (GTA West Corridor).

Dancing to The Barenaked Ladies' "Township of King" and waving Stop the 413 signs to honks of encouragement from passing cars and buses, our message was heard, loud and clear.

After months of sending emails and signing petitions, it felt great to finally channel our disappointment, frustration, and anger into a physical protest.
